Please Note: Registration for all holidays through Simchat Torah closed on September 25th. Baruch Hashem, our temporary space is filled to capacity for Yom Kippur, which means we will be unable to accomodate anyone without a prior reservation.
As is the custom at Kehillat Shaar HaShamayim, Kapparot is performed with Tzedakah money and not live chickens.
If you wish to perform this Mitzvah yourself, you are welcome to join us after services at the Bet Knesset on Erev Yom Kippur. If you will be unable to make it, the Rabbi will be able to have you in mind by submitting the form below.
It is a long-standing practice at Kehillat Shaar HaShamayim to show respect to those who observe Yizkor on the days the Ashkenazi communities worldwide do by reciting a "Hashkavah Kelalit", a communal memorial prayer.
This year, especially for those unable to join us in person, names can be submitted for the Rabbi to recite during Yizkor at the Kehillah.
