Shalom,
A few of our regulars will be out of town this Shabbat, including myself, as I am visiting Rabbanit Devorah in New York.
I would greatly appreciate your personal commitment to make it to the Bet Knesset on Friday, July 1st at 6:45pm for Kabbalat Shabbat, and on Shabbat, July 2nd at 9:00am. Both men and women can help us create our beautiful Shabbat atmosphere by attending this weekend.
Shabbat will be under the guidance of my father, Rabbi Dr. Shalom Halevy. Thank you to those who have volunteered to push him back and forth to Bet Knesset - may Hashem bless you two-fold, Amen!
Just a reminder that there will not be a Shabbat lunch at the Bet Knesset this week.
I can't wait to see you all when I return this Thursday, b'ezrat Hashem!
Wishing you only blessings and goodness from accross the country,
Rabbi Yonatan Halevy
PS Something personal...
As I sit here writing to you from Monsey, New York, I cannot help but be overwhelmed with gratitude to you and your families at how much we have grown together since last summer. This our second summer together a Kehillah and we have accomplished so much good together! Knowing that wherever I may be in the world, each and every one of you do your part to hold up the fort and make our Kehillah the spiritual fortress it is, makes me so proud to be your Rabbi. I love you dearly and wish you a most uplifting Shabbat!
