Shalom,
A few of our regulars will be out of town this Shabbat, including myself, as I just finished officiating a wedding here with RabbanIt Devorah.
I would greatly appreciate your personal commitment to make it to the Bet Knesset tonight at 6:45pm for Kabbalat Shabbat, and tomorrow - on Shabbat - at 9:00am. Both men and women can help us create our beautiful Shabbat atmosphere by attending this weekend.
Shabbat will be under the guidance of our regulars, whom I trust wholeheartedly to run Shabbat services in the spirit of Kehillat Shaar HaShamayim. May Hashem bless you two-fold, Amen!
Just a reminder that there will not be a Shabbat lunch at the Bet Knesset this week.
I can't wait to see you all when I return this Monday, b'ezrat Hashem!
Wishing you only blessings and goodness from accross the sea,
Rabbi Yonatan Halevy
PS Something personal...
As I sit here writing to you from the island of St. Thomas, I cannot help but be overwhelmed with gratitude to you and your families at how much we have grown together! Knowing that wherever I may be in the world, each and every one of you do your part to hold up the fort and make our Kehillah the spiritual fortress it is, makes me so proud to be your Rabbi. I love you dearly and wish you a most uplifting Shabbat!
