We regret to inform you of the passing of our dear friend and community member Angel ben Binyamin z"l (Angel Gonzalez) of blessed memory
who was taken from us in a senseless act of violence.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to the entire Gonzalez family. .מן השמים ינוחמו May they be comforted from Heaven. He will swallow up death for ever; and Hashem Elokim will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of His people will He take away from off all the earth; for Hashem has spoken it.

Rabbi's Message from Facebook
We have just received the tragic news that our dear friend and Kehillat Shaar HaShamayim member, Angel Gonzalez, has tragically passed away.
As this news is spreading rapidly, we have decided to share this post before sending out an official email.
We don’t have any further details at the moment, but we will share them with you as they come in.
In the meantime:
1) If anyone needs to speak with Rabbanit Devorah or myself, we will be coming back into town tonight and will make ourselves available to you immediately.
2) It seems that his family has set up a fundraiser to lay him to rest with the dignity he deserves. I am not in touch directly to know who is responsible for it, but we encourage you to help, however you can: https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-memory-if-angel-gonzalez…
On behalf of the entire Shiviti family, I pray that he may rest in peace and that his precious family receive comfort from Heaven.
With much sadness, Yonatan Halevy
