Parashat Vayigash - Shabbat Shalom! No Kiddush Lunch this Shabbat
Israel Prayers
Dearest friends and members,
As Devorah and I journey our homeland - for the first time with all our children, I cannot help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude to Hashem. It is with that in mind that our hearts overflow with love how you have been so good to us and this beautiful community we call home!
We would like to give back in the form of praying for you and yours at various holy spots around Israel.
(Also, since we have been asked many times to bring Tzedakah to those who need or for other Mitzvah purposes, we have added that option to our form. It is just that - optional!)
May HaKadosh Baruch Hu answer all your Tefillot and may you pray for us to return rejuvenated and ready for an incredible new calendar year, full of productivity and growth together with all of our friends in our beautiful community, Amen!
With so much love and so many blessings, Rabbi Yonatan Halevy
A number of our Kehillah members expressed interest in joining our learning series despite being unable to travel to Los Angeles to attend in person.
1. IF you live outside of Los Angeles (or live in Los Angeles and plan to attend the future classes in person)
2. AND you wish to be a serious member of the new class (printing handouts, doing homework, watching the videos, etc)
3. PLEASE send a message with your email address (@gmail.com is preferred) to info@shiviti.org
So that we may add you to our Google Classroom!
Wishing you a beautiful day, Rabbi Yonatan Halevy PS Please do not join the Classroom out of curiosity as inactive members will be removed.

Down With Double Standards "How would you feel if a good friend, a seemingly religious Jew – wears a Kippah and Tzitzit, prays every day, eats Kosher food, observes the Shabbat, is always kind to others – sent you an invitation to his daughters wedding? You would certainly be happy and grateful, would you not? Would your reaction be different if it contained a message missionizing you to another faith?..." Click here to read more!
