As we get ready to take a journey to our homeland, we can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude to Hashem. Is is with that in mind that our hearts overflow with love how you have been so good to us and this beautiful community we call home!

 

We would like to do our part and give back in the form of praying for you and yours at various holy spots around Israel.

The Rabbi and Rabbanit (and Elchanan) will be setting out to Israel in May!

 

Rabbanit Devorah will be going to help her sister Nechama, and her brother-in-law Rabbi Oded. We ask that you continue to keep him in your prayers:

for a speedy recovery, Amen.

 

Rabbi Yonatan will be taking this opportunity to undergo intense Rabbinic exams by Rabbi Yaakov Peretz shlit"a in the hope that this will enable our Kehillah the authority to one day perform Jewish conversions in San Diego.

Represent Kehillat Shaar HaShamayim as we join SCY High for their annual Yom HaAtzmaut celebration.

Kehillat Shaar HaShamayim Campus

 

The custom of Kehillat Shaar HaShamayim is to say half Hallel with a Beracha on the 5th of Iyar (Friday morning), regardless of when Yom HaAtzmaut is celebrated in Israel (Thursday this year).

 

Please join us on Friday morning for our 7:00am Shacharit followed by Hallel.
